Embracing Royal Festival Hall as a masterpiece of Brutalist and Modernist architecture, this typeface has been produced by carefully studying this structure to complement its graphic identity. Inspired by the boldness of contrast between the broad structure and thin columns which inspired the influences of calligraphy in this typeface. The aim was to design a typeface for Royal Festival Hall, potentially replacing their current typeface outside of the building and also incorporated into their graphic identity.
